2009 was a great reading year for me! I finished 134 books! That has to be a record for me, at least since I finished school!

I was pretty stingy with the five-star ratings this year, so I think I’ll go ahead and list them all. I think it’s funny that I don’t read that many young adult books, and yet my five-star list is tilted firmly that way. Maybe that should tell me to pick up more young adult fiction? Anyway, in no particular order, my top books of 2009 (links are to my GoodReads reviews):

  1. MarceJ, I keep thinking the same thing as I look at everyone else's round-up posts. So many books that people love that I haven't even heard of!

Diane, I mostly avoided the YA section at my library for a long time, but I joined a YA group on GoodReads, and they have introduced me to some wonderful books.

  2. You had a great reading year. I see so many YA books that look great to me, but I only read (2)YA in 2009 — too many other books I want to read more I guess ..LOL

Have a great Happy and Healthy New Year.

  3. WOW you have so many I haven't even heard of, I will have to go look at some more in depth.
