  1. I turned to Gail Carriger whenever I wanted a fun read in 2014 — ended up reading 7 of her novels!

  2. I need to get caught up on my series. I haven't read Curtsies and Conspiracies yet and I have to read books 3-5 of the Song of Ice and Fire series. I want to read the first book in Carriger's new series too (featuring Alexia's daughter).

I liked Gods in Alabama when I read it a few years ago. I think I also read Backseat Saints but I can't remember. Hope you enjoy it!

  3. What do you think of the Gail Carriger series? I've read the Parasol Protectorate books and really enjoyed them, but have yet to start the Finishing School series.

    Enjoy A Dance With Dragons!

  4. I really should get reading the rest of the GOT books my other half has read them all but I just have so much on my list to be read sooner! Hmm!!

  5. ooooo i loved gods in alabama! it's probably my favorite joshilyn jackson book! hope you have a great week

  6. I'm afraid I really can't get into GoT. I watched the first season years ago and didn't enjoy it that much. I tried to watch S2 recently and gave up part-way through the first episode. I must be the only person in the world who feels that way!

  7. You had a good year of reading, judging from your top ten and look back posts. I'll be curious to see what you think of Dance with Dragons when you're done- i read it and a lot happens in that one. Happy reading!
