  2. I'm trying to read the host right now as well, though I'm not doing a very good job. I just keep shoving it to the side. Everyone tells me it gets really good, but you just have to sort of plow through the beginning.

    Anyway, I hope you enjoy everything you have planned to read!

  3. I haven't read The Host but I have been seeing previews for the film to be released soon and the storyline looks good. I look forward to reading your thoughts on Doctor Zhivago. I have never tackled this one but I love a classic! Have a great week.

  5. Reading the No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series is like visiting old friends. I can't wait for the next one later this year. Usually he releases it by now but it seems I have to wait!

  7. What a lofty undertaking Doctor Zhivago must be, not sure I could get through that one! I haven't read Mary Kay Andrews but I'd like to and the cover of the Orchid Affair is just lovely, makes me want to read it! Here's my reading list for the week…

  9. I remember Doctor Zhivago. My mum has it on her bookshelves. It is one of the few books she never let me touch.

  10. How are you liking The Host? It's the only Stephanie Meyer book I've read and I vaguely recall liking it, but it's been so long I can't remember much else. I've been considering re-reading it, but I have so many other books to read.

  13. I loved Miss Peregrine's. I took a big break from YA (I still only pick them up occasionally) and I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I also liked Dr Zhivago and the Host. Have a great week.

  14. I enjoyed the No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series. Hope you find it fun, too. I love that it's in a country that I don't know much, but it doesn't alienate the reader at all.
