Honestly, it’s getting down to vacation crunch time and I haven’t read as much of my guidebook as I’d like. I love guidebooks. I’m shifting my focus to that primarily, so I think it will be a while before I pick up anything new. Well, I am listening to audiobooks, so I might actually choose a new one soon.

  1. Walden is a good read for the summer/fall. Is this a re-read or the first time?

I love the cover of The Paper Magician.

  2. Such a nice assortment of books. I haven't read any of the Jacky Faber series. Thanks for bringing it back to mind. I'll see if I can interest my students in the series. Happy reading!

  3. The Jacky Faber book looks fun, a good pirates story? And guidebooks are fun to read before a big trip, just the anticipation of going and planning this and that. Have a great trip!

  4. Oh, Hawaii–my fave vacation spot ever. I didn't read a thing while I was there, because there was so much to see! But I finished a book just on the long plane rides. Enjoy!

  5. I have Season of the Dragonflies on my stacks…I have many books ahead of it, but it does look interesting. Enjoy your vacation and whatever books you take. Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST
