Finished and Reviewed:
Cybele’s Secret by Juliet Marillier
The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Currently Reading:
Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde

Up Next:
Again, I’m not sure.  I recently checked a stack of “new” young adult books out from the library, so probably one of those.  I have Ash by Malinda Lo, Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld, The Fetch by Laura Whitcomb, and Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.  My sister also just loaned me Storm Front by Jim Butcher.  I have wanted to read it for a while, so that’s calling my name pretty loudly.  We’ll see.  I’m supposed to have jury duty on Wednesday (UGH!), so I’m not sure if that will be good for the reading time or bad.  Here’s hoping that I find out I don’t even have to go.

What are you reading this week?

  1. Thanks for stopping by! I had a little time to read in jury duty, but not as much as I would have liked. We had to sit there for three hours while they were actively choosing the jury for a civil case from among us. I didn't want to get called up to the actual jury part and not know what questions they had been asking. Luckily, I didn't get called up at all.

Thanks for letting me know Shy! That's so sweet of you! I didn't know about it.

Thanks for the rundown, Misty! I had Leviathan all lined up ready to go next, then I got The Postmistress in the mail and couldn't help diving right in!

  2. I really enjoyed "The Shadow in the Wind" but haven't read "Angel's Game" yet.

  3. Oh, I am patiently waiting for my library to buy more Shades of Grey copies (or for those who have them checked out to read more quickly!), so that I can get my hands on it. Next on my list is Leviathan, but I'd highly recommend Ash. It's beautiful.

  4. I think I agree with Misty on her list and opinions of the books I haven't read Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld yet but it is on my TBR pile.

  5. I am halfway through Hush, Hush…can't give you a verdict yet, but read it with me, so we can chat about it next week!

    Happy Reading!

  6. hush hush is really good and I interviewed the author too which was a lot of fun.

Enjoy your reads this week – cant wait to read your reviews!

  7. This is the second time that I have come across The Angel's Game. Me thinks I need to check that one out!

  8. I want to read The Fetch; Certain Slant of Light was awesome. Here's the order I would put them, having read all but The Fetch:

    Leviathan
    The Fetch
    Storm Front
Ash (little bit of a letdown)
Hush, Hush (lot bit of a letdown…)

    Have fun choosing!

  9. I've been wanting to read Hush, Hush for a while now. I hope you have a great reading week 🙂

  14. Oh, how I envy thee for having Leviathan in your TBR pile! Hope you enjoy the Jasper Fforde book that you're currently reading. BTW, I believe that you wrote an excellent review on Soulless before. Did you notice that its sequel, Changeless is on sell @BookDepository? $5.99 per book if I'm not mistaken =)

  15. If jury duty where you are is anything like it is in Illinois, you'll have plenty of time for reading-I finished an entire book the last time.

    Have a good week!
