Welcome to my weekly update for August 2, 2015! It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. She’s taking a bit of personal leave so I’m also linking to Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

We took it pretty easy this week. My family had a cookout yesterday for the July and August birthdays, so that was a good time, with lots of good food!

  1. Shantaram is a monster, still on my want to read list.

  2. Lol Seriously Mum, What's An Alpaca? cool title. My granddaughter and I were patting baby alpacas at a school fete on the weekend, they are the cutest things.
I really liked Cinder and Scarlet but for some reason I haven't got my act together to read Cress and it's being waiting patiently on my kindle since release. Maybe the series takes a nosedive? I'll have to check out your review.

Have a great week and happy reading 🙂

  3. I had a quick look at the link to Shantaram and can see why it would take more time to read. Hope you really enjoy every minute of it.

  4. Seriously Mum, What's An Alpaca? Does look cute. Glad you had a relaxing week and hope this week delivers more of the same.

  5. I'll definitely have to check out your review of Fairest! I've had it on my shelf for months but haven't actually read it yet… Cress wasn't all that I'd hoped it would be so I guess I've been putting it off. Have a great week! 😀

  6. The Story Land and Sea does have an intriguing synopsis, and I can see wanting to know more after reading that. Too bad it didn't connect more, I also don't like it when a book appeals but turns out to be written in a literary style. that can really kill the enthusiasm, unfortunately.

Have a great week and enjoy the reads!

  7. I'm intrigued by the title The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can Eat. Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
