It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at One Person’s Journey Through a World of Books.

Finished and Reviewed:
Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
Ash by Malinda Lo

Currently Reading:
She-Rain by Michael Cogdill

Up Next:
The Help by Kathryn Stockett! Finally! I requested this about two months ago from my library, and they just sent me a notice that it’s available to be picked up. Now if my night-shift self can just get out of bed early enough to actually go get it tomorrow….

Other News:
I got to go to not one but two author signings last week!  I was at Sarah Addison Allen‘s official book launch on Tuesday, and I got to see Ron Rash on Friday! I’ll be writing about both signings as soon as I make time for it. If either is going to be close to you, go see them!

What are you reading this week?

  1. Hi Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by my place. I'm finally getting to return the visits!
I've been eying The Help. The others are new to me titles/authors.
Ohh – I want to see your review of The Postmistress!
    Have a good weekend!

  2. I'm so jealous of both the author signings! How fun and such great authors to see. Now I'm off to read your review of Leviathan since I keep meaning to snag it from my kid so I can read it and see what steampunk is about.

  3. I really, really want to read the Help! I keep hearing really good things about it.

Enjoy the rest of your week and happy reading!

  4. You've read some great books that are on my reading list 🙂
And I've been to Patrick's blog & I agree he's really funny. His interview with Peter V Brett a few months ago was the funniest interview I've read ever. I guess we'll have to be patient for the 2nd book. I thought it will be out this summer, but I guess it's postponed for next year 😉
    Happy reading week!

  5. I like author signings. I have a signed copies of a few books-Lovely Bones, and one of my Ann Patchett books. I enjoyed Garden Spells very much and bought the Sugar Queen but haven't read it yet. I definitely will have to pick up the new book. You have some great reads.

  6. I am hoping that The Help is at the library tomorrow when I go. It has been sitting there calling to me the past couple weeks, but kept getting ignored for other books.
